The role Africa NGO Jobs Vacancies
The purpose of this post is to ensure that South Sudan program adheres to all its management obligations granted internally inside of Save the Children and externally with donors. The position will work as a key connection and support for the program in relation to the financial grant management and budgetary control.
Qualifications and experience
• Accounting Degree (or equivalent certification and experience)
• Recognized qualification – accounting CPA, ACCA
• At least 4 years experience in financial management with INGOS
• Significant experience in financial, monitoring and control systems with strong analytical skills
• Significant experience in financial, monitoring and control systems with strong analytical skills
• Knowledge and experience in financial applications, I have SUN/emblematic Agresso accountancy packages and spreadsheets
• Significant experience of managing scholarships and finances of a large emergency program with a variety of funding sources
• Knowledge of financial knowledge donor policies and guidelines guidelines for DFID is a must
• Proven ability to prepare budgets and financial reports of the donor
• Good personal organizational skills, including time management and the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Commitment and understanding of Save the Children aims, values and principles.
• Willingness to travel and work in Office difficult environment from time to time
• Ability to work in a multicultural context
Desirable
• Experience of working in a busy environment NGOS
• Basic knowledge of IT
